In the middle of Pella's Central Park stands a beautiful 13 ft. sundial.  The most accurate of all time keeping devices, the sundial was a gift to the city from Heritage Lace Inc. in 1991.  It is a  featured attraction during the annual Tulip  Festival held every year in May.

Pella's central business district resembles a street in the Netherlands.  Buildings are tall and narrow with distinctive Dutch facades.
